Electrical problem
1989 Chevy Beretta 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 178000 miles
I have no brake lights except the 3rd one in the rear window. I used to have them except on the drivers side usually when I had headlights on or using the left turn signal. My turn signal also doesnt work I have to pull it back in order for them to flash. The right side sometimes works. But left you always need to pull the lever in order for them to work.
Hi:
It sounds like the turn signal switch needs replaced. Does your vehicle have a driver's side air bag? If not, you need to remove the steering wheel to get to the switch. However, if the vehicle is equiped with an airbag, I strongly recommend that you have a traind professional make the repair.
Let me know if this helps, or if you have any other questions.
