Hello..

Ride quality is terrible on my MDX. Here are some details about it.. It has 105K miles, due for a timing belt. I had all 4 shocks replaced and engine mounts replaced (broken) about 3 months ago. I was having this problem before I had all of that work done, thinking it would help alot. But it didn't.

It has new tires 10K miles on them.

Here is what is happening.. For about the first 10 minutes of driving, it's like driving on a dirt road.
Real bumpy, just like running over a bunch of rocks.
After the car warms up, the ride quality improves by 90%.

Could it be that the tires just need balanced again? I know it needs new rotors on the rear, but would this cause this kind of problem, even when I'm not using the brakes?

I hate to go back to the shop and get a big surprise.

Any ideas where I should start looking?

The tires are from before the problem started or after?
Does the engine shake? Do you feel the shaking or bouncing through the steering wheel? Has it been consistant or is it getting worse? Any sounds when you turn a corner that cause a ticking sound? How are the tires wearing? Are they cupping?
