89 audi 200 turbo 177,000 miles. 2L? it will not start when its hot, no spark. i have to wait up to 2 hours before it starts. (it also runs really rich when its cold) i am the shoemakers wife, my husband, a mechanic of 30+ yrs wont fix it but says its the coil pack. i took it to a local mechanic who says its not the coil pack, its the thermal sensor. of course my husband says its not it, he has replaced that recently due to corrosion. So i took it to the audi dealer who thinks its the cam sensor, the coil pack is like a light bulb and will work all the time or quit for good. so my husband says i dont have a cam sensor on my car!! i dont have alot of money for trial and error and am at my wits end dealing with this for over a year. my daughter and i sweat when its hot or freeze when its cold while we wait for it to start. anyone have any ideas??? PLEASE!!
