K Reg' Audi 80 2.6 V6 (approx 150,000mls) Please Help! I have been told, by a mechanic, that this is probably down to a faulty "float" in the tank. As an amatuer mechanic would I be able to remove and clean the "float" without having to remove the whole tank or do I HAVE to buy a new one and get it professionally fitted? Don't mean to sound tight but cash is an issue!
