This car will have a DIN type battery, you will see that the battery post are no higher than the battery case, ad if you fit a more conventional battery it may cause a problem, just be aware of metal striking the pos terminal as this will cause a flash and can often destroy electrical equipment, i would be fitting the correct battery.
