2001 BMW Z3 Speaker Noise

Electrical problem
2001 BMW Z3 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 45250 miles

When the car moves (forward or reverse) and when the radio is turned on( with or without a volume) there is a clicking sound in the bass speaker between the seats of my Z3...

Strangest thing I have ever heard......

When the radio is off there is no noise...

It seems to get more frequent and louder when the car rolls and you accelarate....

Any Ideas?

Is this a completely stock system or is there an after market installation and wiring here? Also if stock, what is the level of equipment sophistication?

Yes this is a stock system, all original equipment..
