Computer problem
2000 Audi A6 V8 All Wheel Drive Automatic 103000 miles

My husband and I just recently brought our car in for the timing belt, alternator and coolant pump to be replaced. When we picked it up they told us the 2nd air pump is going bad and might turn the "check engine" light on. We weren't but 2 miles away from the shop and it did. Took it in and they replaced the 2nd air pump and MAP. Drove less than 20 miles and the light came on again. They blame it on the computer and it not reading averages correctly after disconnecting the battery. Is this a possibility? Shouldn't they reset that correctly? HELP!
