1998 BMW Z3 Heater not putting out heat

Heater problem
1998 BMW Z3 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 94,000 miles

I have replaced the heater control valve but I stll don't get heat through the vents. The themostat shows heat and occasionaly get some heat but not consistently. What could be the problem?

Could be a plugged heater core. are you getting flow through the heater valves?
