Air Conditioning problem
1997 BMW 328 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 135,00 miles

My AC has suddenly stopped. At first the blower motor made a slight grinding sound and then suddely quit. Could you tell me where in the car the blower motor is located and where I can find a reasonably priced replacement? Thank you
The blower motor is located behind the fire wall, directly under the windshield. There are several online suppliers for BMW parts. Try Realoem.com. Also you may wish to consider replacement of the fan motors final stage(the module that controls the fan speed) if the new fan motor does not get rid of the problem. The reason I recommend replacement of both is that I have seen the final stage cause issues with motor noise. Repost if you require assistance with the installation.
