1992 BMW 318 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 156MLS miles

Hows it going lads?? I bought a 92 bmw 318i last week at a cheap price, as some repairs need to be done, the front driver side shock needs to be replaced as its extremely uncomfortable taking bumps.Tonight travelling back from work with a mate driving behind me on the motorway, (doing about 120kms p/h), he noticed there was sparks coming from my left wheel arch, it continued at high speed, but no sign at lower.can anyone please assist me on this one as it has me baffled.Thanks.......

Are the tires worn out? Steel belted tires can make sparks when worn out.

nope, all brand new wheels and tyres all around mate.......its a strange one.......
