1989 Buick Century V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 172000 miles

I have a problem regarding towards my buick centruy. The problem is that for some reason my car will start and wont start. It has a new battery 3 months old an alternator that 7 months old and some how it gets drained, but weird thing is the car wont be used for a day and then the next dayt it starts up with no problem; that following night it somehow loses power; then the next moring it runs all day no problems; then the next day i cant start the car. The car seems to be haunted. When i drive my car everything runs all right but sometimes it stalls and i have to two foot pedal the car most of the way; then its fine. Do you know what the problem could be. Please help.

Take the car to most autoparts stores and have the charging system tested, including a battery drain test.
This will tell you the condition of the battery and charging system and any parasitic drains on the battery.
