1989 BMW 750Li V12 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 150000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I have a 1989 BMW IL and I know the battery is under the rear passanger seat. How do I remove the seat. I have tryed to lift it but no luck. Can you help me?
The right rear seat needs to come out. First raise the seat as high as it will go and look under the seat for a rod that is hooked into a space in the "tub" of the car and on the other end is a 17mm bolt head. Unscrew the bolt and the seat base will come out. Replace the battery and then the seat base.
