Engine Performance problem
1986 Buick Century 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 96,000 miles
I am looking at a 1986 Century wagon 6cly. It runs fine for about an hour around town and then it looses power and stops. After it sits for about 45 minutes it will restart and run again until we start this all over again.Any suggestions would be help full. Thanks
Hi:
First I would recommend that you have the computer scanned for trouble codes. Most nationally recognized parts stores will do it for free. If a code is found, it will direct us to the problem. Honestly, it sounds like an ignition module problem, but don't spend the money until we are sure.
