1988 Pontiac 6000 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 223000 miles

i hads my front struts replaced and strut mounts . the one on the left makes a ticking sound when you go over bumps and the right one is stiff turning as if it was old and seizing up .these parts are only 6 monthes old . the mount on the right was replaced agian thinking it was defective and still no change. all parts are monroe
Hi:
The ticking could be a cracked spring. Check it where it mounts on the bottom. Also, I'm not sure that the strut would cause a turning problem unless it's really bad. Are you sure the rack and pinion is good. The 80's was a bad time for GM Racks. They would stick / grab due to a bushing problem.
