Engine Mechanical problem
1988 GMC Jimmy V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 110000 miles

My 1988 GMC full size jimmy died on me and I replaced the fuel pump and it started right up fine for 5 minutes and I shut it of and tried to start it again and it would not start. With pedal to the floor it tries to start and blows lots of black smoke out the tail pipe. I replaced the fuel regulater and it did the same sting it started and ran fine I shut it off and tried to restart and again would not start also again if pedal is to the floor it almost starts with black smoke coming out of tail pipe. It has a 350 with TBI
