Transmission problem 1988 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 150000 miles If I punch the accelerator the automatic transmission will more likely shift into 2nd gear straight away, but if I slowly accelerate the RPMs will increase but the transmission may not get out of 1st, and if it does, it's a hard shift into 2nd. Beyond 2nd gear, there are no problems. The transmission fluid looks good and is full. What are your thoughts? Thanks a million!
