Electrical problem
1986 BMW 325 Two Wheel Drive Manual
----------------------------------------------------------------
Here you go:

LEFT TURN FLASHER BLINKS FAST NO LIGHTS FRONT OR BACK LEFT SIDE

Hazards work fine
Right signal works fine
Left Bulbs good
Rear Left Assembly good switched with right
Tested Signal Switch in column Continuity with Power off Left Switch pins. Right produces same so switch appears to be functional - according to tests
Common ground used for rear hazards at front and back I believe
at least this what wiring digram reflects
The hazards bypass flasher switch because they are powered all time - and/so lights work
Any thoughts?

This sounds like a failed turn signal switch. Can you repost with the VIN?

Tested Blinker switch in column and according to test procedure & looks good. This is to say switch closes/continuity between pins with no power on right hand position and no continuity when switch is off. Continuity in left hand position between appropriate pins with switch in left hand position and non in center position off.

Has the vehicle ever had an alarm or been in an accident? When did this issue start? I will pull the appropriate electrical trouble shooting manual for your car at work and repost. Could you send me a PM and give me your Email address so I can send you the appropriate pages from the book.
