1985 Other GMC Models V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 80,200 miles

I have a 1985 GMC Suburban and I need to find out if it is positive side switched or negative side switched, how do I know?

I am installing a headlight flasher and I need to know if I have a positive or negative side switched system, dont know how to find out.

For me at the coil side of the relay positive goes in and the other side goes to ground
