1985 Chevy S-10 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 50000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I recently purchase a 1985 Chevy S-10 w/2.5L Automatic.
The owner I purchased it from had driven the truck to get it inspected & when he picked it up it quit running on his way home.
There is no fuel coming through the injector when cranking the engine.
The original owner had put in a new ECM,Complete Distributor,Fuel Pump and still the engine will not start.
When I got it home,I had checked, with my volt meter, the red wire going to the injector.
With the key on,there is 12 volts at the connector.
When I check the blue wire, there is no voltage at all, even when cranking the engine.
I do not want to keep throwing parts at this and am trying to get an answer on what all controls the injector or causes it to open & close to allow for fuel to pass through.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
