Engine Mechanical problem

I have a 85 Cavalier Convertible, in great shape. While driving this weekend the car loss motor power.After futur investigation I noticed that the fuel injector was dumping fuel into the motor..thus flooding the engine. After taking the injector out and inspecting it noticed 2 orings with slight tears in them, replaced them and tried starting it again. The injector was still dumping fuel. My next step was to check the wiring I didn't have my noid lamp but I traced the wiring, to check for corrsion or grounding out. All the wiring was clean with no breaks in the wiring. I next checked the fuel regulator to see if the diapham may have a leak but the diaphram and spring are still in good working order.. I don't know where to go from here.. Please help:)
