Electrical problem
1976 Ford F150 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 59000 miles
There is no fire to the spark plugs. Replaced distributor; cannot get fire to ignition module. When I hotwire module, on white wire, the engine cranks, but no fire. New spark plugs, all fuses good. Have even hot-wired from ignition switch to ignition module and still no fire to plugs. Hot wire on coil is hot. |

Welcome to the forum.
It seems the older my diagrams get, the less accurate? If the positve side of coil is hot, the negative side has to be hot, also? If not the coil is faulty. |
