Electrical problem
1963 Chevy Truck V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 82500 miles
When I pull the light switch out to the first setting all of the parking lights turn on. When I pull the light switch out to the second setting the head lights turn on, but the front parking lights turn off. The tail lights stay on. All of the turn signals, brake lights and emergency flashers work. Is this the way a '63 truck is supposed to work? If so I plan to install a diode to power the front parking light circuit from the head lights. |

I used to have a 1963 Chevy step side, but that was a long long time ago, but I believe you have a bad light switch considering the age of truck I believe they are still available, also check your dimmer switch on the floor make sure it's working properly, because that switch works together with your light switch |
